Frank Disalle 10/01/2008 16:09 I hereby swear that I will be selfless, caring, tender and gracious. I will be ever mindful of the courage, integrity and tenacity that is required to survive and thrive in transition. I will treat you like a lady willingly and thoughtfully, so that you will find yourself thinking, "Does this guy know I was EVER a man?" I will share my thoughts, hopes and dreams, and ask that you do the same. I will be the hand that you hold, the arm that you take as we walk through life, and the shoulder that you cry on if need be. Now can I get a kiss?Loveya,Frankie
Pard 9/26/2008 09:08 Michelle, I have read all your articles and must say how very interesting and well written they are. I love your insight and style. Not only are you a very beautiful and sexy looking woman but very articulate and intelligent as well. Keep up the beautiful work. You have a very rare talent that should be exposed to the world. Hugs and kisses hon.
Lynda Rafaella Mariposa 9/07/2008 21:15 Thank you so much for sharing this marvelous writing...it is truly a pouring of your mind, your life and soul. Turning 61 today, I reflect on my life and have to share that I regret not having come out to everyone many years ago. I believe that the opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of love is fear...and within fear is born hate, jealousy, envy, and many more expressions of the thing that keeps us from expressing our true selves to the world. Thank you again
J R Bear 9/04/2008 17:28 Ok, my bad, I took until now to read this one.OOPS!!! I gotta admit, ya had me thinkin' bout runnin' for cover until I thought about it, read it again, thought some more, and re-read. This whole situation, and the lessons within, can be applied to way more than just one. Essentially, it is all simply life happening(or that greatest of all common phrases...shit happens)I'm not going to debate you on this.I agree with 99.9% of all. I just find that it's so easy to draw parallels to anything and everything that any one person holds as an ideal. This should be required reading for all!Gr, outta
Nicole Asahi 8/25/2008 19:44 Wow, Michelle, please tell us how you *REALLY* feel about scaredy-cat men, and don't hold anything back this time! :D Your missive first made me say: "Yeah, men, listen to the girl Michelle!", then it made me think: "*I* should try to be a David(a) myself more often, in all situations." Thanks!
Casey Hill 8/20/2008 08:40 I've read this twice, and still can't think of something coherant to say. The analogy you've used here is great. It shows people like me, who have barely a clue as to what you've endured in your life, the mental strength needed to live life the way you know it's meant to be. That's admirable.
Danielle Hendrix 8/19/2008 18:54 Bravo, Michelle. I've said the same thing ... but I've never said it better. Great article. xoxo Danielle ... PS - I MISS YOU!!!!
